All the material for the year can be found here. The material for January and February is "Section A Life of Nichiren Daishonin" at guidestud.org/Study%20exam/section_a_study.htm.

Study Exams (grades 1 and 2): The study course material and questions for Grade 1 and 2 are available on www.guidestud.org. This includes Grade 1 Study material on the Priesthood Issue (Section E).

From President Ikeda's Message for Soka Gakkai Day 2009

"By devoting yourselves to the path of mentor and disciple in pursuit of the highest good, you are accumulating boundless and immeasurable benefit. Both the Lotus Sutra and the Daishonin’s writings affirm this. You will also definitely be protected by the heavenly deities—the positive functions of the universe. And your families and loved ones are also certain to enjoy immense good fortune in lifetime after lifetime, while your descendants down through the generations will lead lives of prosperity and success.

The world is now in the midst of a dire economic crisis and faced with myriad daunting challenges. But the deeper the darkness looming over society, the brighter and stronger shines the supreme philosophy of Nichiren Daishonin’s Buddhism. As the Daishonin states: “Great evil portends the arrival of great good. If all of Jambudvipa [the entire world] were to be thrown into chaos, there could be no doubt that [this sutra would] ‘be widely propagated throughout Jambudvipa’ [LS28, 322]” (WND-1, 1122).

As people who uphold faith in the Mystic Law through which no prayer will go unanswered and who employ the unsurpassed strategy of the Lotus Sutra, you will never be deadlocked in the course of your lives, which are endowed with a profound mission."
