Liphook Millenium Hall, 2 Ontario Way, Liphook, Hants Childrens' Meeting:
Just before morning gongyo we will split into two meetings, one for grown-ups in the main hall, the other a full independant discussion meeting of their own for Mimosa, Young Eagle and Future Group (about 6 to 16 year-olds) in the Family Room. There will also be a short entertainment by Mimosa, Young Eagle and Future Group after lunch. We encourage people to bring their children - but please note the following limitations:About child care:
We are not legally able to take responsibility for children during their activities on the day. If we did we would need to comply with a number of child care legal conditions (liability insurance, registered carers etc). Parents are therefore expected to supervise their own children throughout. We will have a full contingent of Youth and Family Division members to coordinate and support the children's meeting so active parental involvement in running these activities should not generally be necessary. For children under 6 years of age, the Family Room is available but we do not have the resources to operate a creche - please provide your own continuous supervision. If you're bringing children or guests: Please let Rick or Belinda know ASAP. For children, please let us know what ages and whether you can provide a simple costume (a demon, two Buddhist monks, several 13th century Japanese soldiers, Japanese ladies, a rich man, a poor man, a king, a queen, a giant snake, a turtle....) and whether you can help with scenery.
Action Meetings:
If you want to get more involved in the main meeting, please call Belinda Usmar, Will Spurling, Ben Turton or Helen Rafferty. For more involvement in the childrens' DM, please email me (Rick) or Rachel Goodchild. Specific areas: Collage Team (Chris); Discussion Meeting (Ben, TBC); Group leaders (ChrisS, RickH, Karen, Noriko, DaveG, Ben)
